You draw very well and your knowledge of the anatomy is commendable, but there's just something about the colouring which I really dislike. I have a feeling it's got to do with the background which you seem to leave rather empty and use a gradient tool for. As for the highlights and shadows...I dont know, but there's something slightly unappealing. I don't want to sound rude - your stuff is very, very good, but yeah - something about the colour is unappealing is all (to me at least)
That's OK, I can take criticism and appreciate your honesty, as well as your complements. I agree that most of my backgrounds up to this point could be a lot more interesting & I've been trying to step that up in Issue 3 (which I'm currently half-way on). Hopefully, you'll like those better when they show up! :D
